This past weekend, I completed a cake using a different technique for fondant, which resulted in a tie dye effect for the cake. One of the mom’s at my son’s preschool requested a cake for her daughter, and it turns out she loves peace signs and tie dye, so I saw this as a great opportunity to try something new. I made 4 different colors of marshmallow fondant, and formed them into logs. I then started to twist the colors together to make the colors combine, but not to much or you’ll end up with a new color as oppose to a tie dye effect. I think it turned out pretty groovy, man!
