I had a request for a ‘Chica the Chicken’ Cake with a Chica Smash cake, for a little girl turning 1 years old this past weekend. For those of you who are not familiar with Chica, she is a puppet on the Sunny Side Up Show on PBS Sprout. My little boys love her and watch the show almost every morning, so when I was asked to make the cake I knew just what to do.
On the menu for this Sugar Shindig: a Vanilla Sheet Cake with Strawberries ‘n Cream filling, topped with Italian Buttercream & marshmallow Fondant.
